Chrome for Android Beta Channel

The Chrome Team is excited to announce our first Beta channel release of Chrome for Android, based on Chrome 25. You can download version 25.0.1364.8 from Google Play (note, please use the direct link, you will not find it via the search function in Google Play). Similar to our other platforms, Chrome Beta for Android offers a preview of new features and enhancements currently in development. Chrome 25 on Android brings a slew of updates and improvements over our current Chrome 18 based stable channel, including better HTML5 support and JavaScript performance. Much like other Chrome channels, we’ll be pushing regular updates, and we recommend you check the “Auto-update apps” checkbox in Google Play Store settings on your device to get the latest updates right away. If you find a new issue, please let us know by filing a bug. More information on Chrome for Android is available on the Chrome site.
